Victoria Christine Neibert Obituary
Las Vegas NV – Victoria (Vicki) Christine Neibert, age 73, passed to be with her Lord on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Sunrise Hospital, Las Vegas, NV.
Born April 9, 1946 in Philadelphia PA to Joseph W. Neibert Sr. and Eleanor E Neibert (nee Heisler), Vicki is survived by her brothers Joseph A (Joe) Neibert of Henderson TX and Joseph W (Bill) Neibert Jr of Philadelphia PA and Joseph M (Mike) Neibert of Salem NH and her sister Mary E Jurczak (nee Neibert) of Cape Coral, FL. In addition, Vicki is also remembered by numerous close nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that she cared for dearly.
Vicki was raised in Cheltenham PA, a suburb of Philadelphia PA, graduated from Cheltenham High School, Wyncote PA in 1964 (along with her classmates and friends Reggie Jackson and Yonatan Netanyahu).
She launched her career in the travel industry being employed and associated with various major airlines, United and Virgin Atlantic to note a few. Her lifelong career within the travel industry afforded her with the opportunities to reside in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Boston, New York City, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Las Vegas and elsewhere. Her passion to travel extended throughout the world to include the Panama Canal, Spain, England, the Caribbean, the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and Hawaii.
Vicki retired in 2017 allowing her opportunities to travel and spend time and expand relationships with family and friends.
Vicki loved to exercise and would take long multi-mile; multi-hour walks each day. She was also very comfortable in her Christian faith and assured salvation. Once retired, as she had more time to know, grow and focus on God and family, Vicki became the family “Prayer Warrior” praying and talking to God, out loud at times when necessary, for family members, situations or circumstances that she felt could use that extra boost of divine oversight and love. She will be missed by all.
Private services are being held by the family.
In lieu of flowers Vicki would ask instead that you simply hug a child, forgive a friend and help a needy stranger, and perhaps consider making it a habit.
