Carolyn Stevenson

Carolyn Stevenson, 77, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on January 17, 2021.

Carolyn was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Causey Roberts and Catherine Brooks on September 27, 1943.

Carolyn was a retired licensed practical nurse who shared her love of caring with her daughter and granddaughter who also became nurses.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Jeffery Stevenson, her parents Causey and Catherine, her sisters: Mary, Lula, Delores, Claire, and Florence, and brothers: Howard, Raymond, James, William, Causey, Clarence

Carolyn is survived by children Terence Roberts and Janean Skiba, brothers: Ronald, Donald, and Robert, sister: Daisy, her grandchildren: Janelle Welch-Oliver (Matthew), Mark Skiba, Terence Zito, Trayvon Zito, Jada Zito, and Terri Roberts, her great-Grandchildren: Journey Welch-Clark, Sterling Oliver, and Boston Oliver, godson James Smith, and a host of neices and nephews.

The family of Carolyn wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Hadiza Hamza, Dr. Tabreez Ali, Dr. Sean Singh, Dr. Sarav Patel, Pastor Ron Stanfield and first Lady Karen Stanfield, minister Gerald Harper, and Covenant Christian Fellowship Church.

Per Carolyn, "Tell them I was a good grandmother. I would play whatever the kids wanted. I would play play-doh with them."
