David Smith passed away peacefully on September 3, 2024, at his home in Las Vegas, NV, at the age of 69. He was born on October 25, 1954, in Las Vegas, where he lived and attended local schools within the Clark County School District.

David was known for his vibrant personality and his impeccable sense of style. He consistently distinguished himself, whether in a sharp suit or casual sportswear. His love for luxury cars was well-known, with a particular affinity for Jaguars and Mercedes Benzes. David was also a charismatic individual, often referred to by his friends as "Supa Dave," "Pimpin Dave," and "Las Vegas Dave," a testament to his unique charm and pleasant nature.

He was a devoted Dog Dad to his beloved pets, Dolla and Lil Man, who survived him. David's life was deeply rooted in family connections, and he cherished family gatherings, always brightening such occasions with his kind demeanor and infectious smile.

David is survived by his sisters, Yvonne Smith and Sonjie Osborne; nephews, Eric Lee Washington (April), Willie James Washington, Virlee Osborne, Leland Osborne, and Chad Osborne (Domonique “Honey”); nieces, Linda Osborne, Katrina Washington, LaShaundra Washington, Doreatha Smith, and Jasmine Dupree; and his long-time friend, Carmen Tellis and lady friend Ali Avelino Schaub. He also leaves behind many great-nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Washington and Rosie Lee Smith; brother, Gerald Washington; and niece, Danielle Dupree.

A Celebration of Life will be held later, allowing all those who loved him to come together and share their memories of David. This gathering will undoubtedly reflect the joy and camaraderie he brought to those around him.
