Born in Jackson NC on March 31,1957 and raised in NYC NY.
Departed this life
May 6, 2020 at his home in Las Vegas,NV
He was the son of James Harrison and Barbara Lee Harris
He was the step-son of Jadeen Wilson.
David was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Robert and Nannie Harris,  his mother Barbara Lee Wilson and by his oldest son David Franklin Wilson Jr.
David had two sons David Jr. and James Anthony Wilson (Shelia Canada)
He leaves to cherish his memory three siblings Myrtle Elaine Harris of Las Vegas, NV, Thomas Wilson of Colorado, Dionisa Wilson-Blair of Rocky Gap,VA. Also a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is also survived by two maternal aunts, Ms Laura Clemons of SC and Ms. Maxine Clemons(Johnny D)of GA and one aunt by marriage Ms. Annie Harris one maternal uncle Edward Harris of Bluefield WV
He was a graduate of Wyandanch Memorial High School in Wyandanch,NY

David was an Army Veteran.
He did his basic training at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Aberdeen, MD
He was a graduate of Job Corp in Clearfield, Utah with a certificate in diesel mechanic
David was an independent contractor in Las Vegas.
He was well known in the contracting community for his work on many home building projects in NV, CA, OK and TX.
In his early to mid 20's he was the manager of  operated Sir George's Clothing Store in Los Angeles,CA.
My brother lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed traveling.
Wherever his path in life took him,  David took his good book along with him. He loved reading the Bible.
David will be missed by his family and many friends.
