Dee Dee left us on February 21, 2026 to join our very large family in heaven. She was 74 years old, born in Pittsburgh, PA. She grew up in Las Vegas from an early age. She is survived by her only son, Michael Butta Jr, her two sisters, Phyllis Henninger, Linda Ann Ford along with other family members who loved her. Dee Dee was the type of person that when you met her, you knew you would remember her. Once, as a little girl, she danced on a stage with Chubby Checker when he called her to come up and perform with him. That was Dee Dee. She loved dancing. She was a true sports fan but only if the games included the Pittsburgh sports teams especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. They were her team, win or lose. We miss Dee Dee already, but she will always live in our minds and hearts forever.
