Dominic Salvatore DeLeese

February 16, 1932 — December 2, 2020

Dominic Salvatore DeLeese “Cheech”,  88, of Las Vegas, passed away on December 2, 2020 in Las Vegas.

Dominic was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Vincent and Anna DeLeese (nee Castro) on

February 16, 1932.

Dominic served in the Army in Korea. After the service, he moved to California in the early 1960’s.  He worked in the Gardena Card Clubs and was elected as a Business Agent for the Culinary Union.  He moved to Las Vegas in the early 1980’s and worked in security before retiring. Dominic loved sports and he wrestled at Cleveland Benedictine High School.  He enjoyed playing Black Jack at Sam’s Town.

He loved his large family, particularly all his nieces and nephews.  He was especially grateful to his two nephews Paul and Leo Godish who cared for him in his later years.

Dominic is preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Anna and all of his brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his many nieces and nephews
