Donovan J Borge

Donovan John Borge, age 76, passed away on September 24, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was born in Staten Island, New York on November 14, 1948.

Donovan enlisted in the Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. He spent two tours in country during the heaviest fighting of the war, from November 1967 to September, 1969. Much of that time he was within 100 yards of North Vietnamese territory, just south of the DMZ along the Cua Viet river. In March of 1968, during the Tet offensive, he was wounded while helping keep Rt. 9 open near Khe Sanh in northwest South Vietnam. On April 20, 1973, Donovan was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Felicia Borge, and his beloved dog, Heidi, who was his constant companion for many years.

Donovan is survived by his brother, Charles Borge, and his sister, Susette Pauley, and many nieces and nephews.
