Elisabeth Pearson

Elisabeth Sybil Pearson was born in Pennsylvania. We as a fellowship of God's people here in the Greater Las Vegas Community were blessed to become acquainted with our beloved sister Elisabeth Sybil Pearson, around 1995. Elisabeth struggled with life challenges, including legal issues, substance use and mental health. Through Gods grace, Elisabeth was referred to The Salvation Army Pathways Program. With the support of that program, which Elisabeth completed. She became more involved with other fellowships, such as Sisters Taking Steps, a Narcotics Anonymous (NA) program, Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) , and Set Free Ministries 12 Step fellowship. Elisabeth became a member of Changing Direction Community Outreach Ministry in 2015 and continued to build on her spiritual foundation that was a great support with assisting her with developing and maintaining a new life, and a level of independence.

Elisabeth's new life included living life on life's terms, always displaying a servants heart and attitude on her new found journey in life. Elisabeth began to endure many physical health challenges, however, with the Grace of God, through her faith she never gave up striving to serve others with the same compassion others in these fellowships that literally became her family, had shared with her. She spoke once early in her recovery about a daughter who was tragically killed while she was still in the program . She also spoke briefly about her Father, saying that she was a Daddy's girl. All I know is that the love she gave came back to her. Elisabeth you are truly one of God's ABBA FATHER (Daddy's girl) He loves you and so do we. You will be missed but never forgotten.
