In Loving Memory of Elizabeth Jane Watson January 23, 1938 - November 21, 2025 Elizabeth Jane Watson, a devoted wife, cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, was born into a loving American Irish Catholic family in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 87. Elizabeth is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, Roger Watson, and her four beloved children: Roger ( Kelly) Watson; Patrick (Ann) Watson; Jodie (Joel) Minkin; Lisa (Dan) Branchini. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings Robert and Jane Mulrooney, as well as her grandchildren—Shaun (Dorothy), Danielle, Jeremy (Michelle), Kevin (Savannah), Breanna, Shelbi, Ian, Mollee, and Faith—and great-grandchildren, Makayla, Arianna, Isiah, Zion, and Beau. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Harriet Mulrooney, siblings: Jack and Glee Mulrooney, Stan and Gret Mulrooney, Mary Jean and Dick Erler, Pat Brader, Judy Mulrooney, and great-grandson Elijah Waller, along with son-in-law Michael Waller. A woman of deep faith and strong family values, Elizabeth delighted in all holidays, particularly Christmas, Easter, and St. Patrick's Day. She celebrated not only these days but also birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings with great joy. Elizabeth always remembered every birthday, sending thoughtful gifts to all and ensuring her family's milestones were celebrated. Elizabeth loved playing golf with her husband, children, and friends, creating cherished memories on the course. Throughout her life, she worked diligently to provide for her family. She held positions at Desert Rose Golf Club and Boulder City Golf Courses, taught CCD at St. Anne’s, and even worked as a model. A dedicated parishioner, she attended daily Mass at Holy Family, embodying her deep commitment to faith and family. Join us in celebrating the remarkable life of Elizabeth Jane Watson on January 16, 2026, at Christ the King Catholic Church. The Rosary will be held at 10:15 AM, followed by an eulogy and Mass at 11:00 AM. Forever in our hearts, Elizabeth will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her.
