We did not know it at the time, but we were fortunate to have the best parents and family in the world.

They accomplished what few other people could do fifty years ago; raise a bi-racial family with care, love, and success.

There were no racial lines or distinctions, just friends and family.
Essentially, you were the middle son and had to make your own way independently.
I have always been proud that you were able to do so on your own.
You will always be the center of our family. We will forever miss you.
