Lupe
Our beloved son, brother, and friend, Lupe, has been called to go home. Lupe was born on October 18, 1999, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Although born in New Mexico, he lived in many places throughout his life, including Utah and Nevada.
Lupe was a talented chef and a gifted musician. He was a born explorer who deeply loved the outdoors and the wilderness. Always by his side was his beloved doggy daughter, Milly, whom he cherished more than anything.
Lupe traveled all over the country, busking from town to town, following his music and his adventurous spirit. His journey eventually led him back to Las Vegas, where he last lived with his mother, Daisy Barraza, his stepfather, George Cordero, and his siblings Angel and Alekzander.
Lupe wasn’t one for being sappy; however, we all knew he secretly loved it, so we’ll say this with love: he lived life on his own terms, loved fiercely, laughed often, loved animals, and left his mark everywhere he went.
Lupe leaves behind his mother, Daisy Barraza; his stepfather, George Cordero; his brother, Angel Gonzales; his sister, Azari Gonzales; his stepbrother, JC Cordero; his little brother, Alekzander Cordero; his maternal grandmother, Maggie Martinez; his aunt Missy Barraza; his uncle Franky Martinez; and countless cousins and extended family members. He is also survived by his doggy daughter, Milly; his best friend, Jalen Whitson; his companion, Reagan Williams; and so many friends he considered family.
The family has chosen to have a private viewing and a private Celebration of Life.
