Irene Velvick

Irene (Gallegos) Velvick, 45 of Las Vegas, Nevada has passed away on March 6, 2024. Irene was born in Apple Valley, California to Levey and Bernice Gallegos on March 19, 1978. Irene Gallegos attended Clark High School and Western High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Irene thereafter attended UNLV, taking nursing classes, just shy of a couple years to graduate as a Registered Nurse. In the meantime, Irene worked at various Casinos in Las Vegas and enjoyed bartending. We will all miss Irene hosting all the Holiday celebrations at her home and making "everything from scratch." 

Irene is preceded in death by her father Levey Gallegos, Grandmother, Betty Sandoval & Annie Gonzalez. Irene is survived by Bernice Gallegos, Mother, Betty Sulpher and Martin Gallgos, siblings and nieces who loved her very much, Julie, Bella, Angelina and Liana Gallegos and nephews, Mateo Gallegos and Levi Sulpher. 

Funeral will be held at 
St. Andrews Catholic Church
1399 San Felipe Drive
Boulder City, NV 89005
May 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.

Celebration of life will be held at Martin Gallegos' Residence thereafter. Arrangements are made by Bernice Gallegos, Betty Sulpher and Martin Gallegos.
