James Duane Green II

James Duane Green II passed away on December 23, 2016 from heart failure. “Jim,” as he was known to friends and family, was born on July 11, 1946 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was a proud veteran of the Navy, and served during the Vietnam War. A cowboy to the end, he is survived by his children, James Duane Green III, Michelle Renay Green, and Deborah S. Green, his daughter-in-law Carla Green, son-in-law Gregory Lyons, and five grandchildren, Patrick and Emma Green, Christiana and Margaret Lyons, and James Hernandez. He joins his wife, Mary Lee Green who preceded him in death on July 14, 2004. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Horses for Heroes, and non-profit horse ranch that works with children and veterans that Jim volunteered at in his later years.
