Jerry was a Husband, Father, the BEST Papa (because Grandpa was for old guys and not cool enough.) He was a brother, son, uncle, cousin and a friend.
He gave the best hugs and would drop everything if he was needed by a loved one. Every Sunday he made his rounds with text messages and or phone calls to family members, wishing "Happy Sunday!" Ironic he should pass on Sunday. His blue eyes and smile could light up any room.
Jerry worked in several fields and could fix or repair just about anything. His passion was playing in the dirt on construction sites as a heavy equipment operator. He could run all the equipment but his favorite was the big loaders!
He loved his giant Caine Corso Blue, deeply. Sadly, she preceded hmi in death 2 months prior to his passing.
Jerry was married 3 times. His current wife, Kim was his childhood sweetheart of 5 years. After loosing contact with each other for 38 years, the magic of Facebook brought them back together. They married a year later and celebrated a fairytale wedding surrounded by friends and family.
Jerry was always up for an adventure or roadtrip to visit family. He loved to Bar B Que and always made sure everyone was well fed. Although kidney disease affected him the past 8 years, he always tried to keep a positive attitude and worked hard to stay healthy and keep his health issues at bay. He was a warrior!
His love of his wife and family were his ran deep. They were his greatest source of pride and greatest accomplishments.
Jerry is deeply missed by everyone that knew him. We will all strive to keep his memory and passion for life alive. ❤️
