Joan Sunderland Adams

Joan Sunderland Adams, 81, of Las Vegas, NV. passed away peacefully at home on April 2, 2021. She was the child of the late John Z. and Mae Sunderland. Born in Columbus, Ohio December 27, 1939 and graduated from Reynoldsburg High School, Class of 1957. She married George Adams on June 3, 1961. Together they enjoyed traveling and moved to several different cities throughout their 40 years together. Finally relocating to Las Vegas. George predeceased Joan in June 2001. Joan is survived by her only child, Troy Adams of Las Vegas, NV; her brothers, Rocky Sunderland (Donna), Todd Sunderland (Scott); her sisters-in-law, Janet Rhodes and Cindy Adams; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will hold services graveside on Saturday, May 22 at 11am, at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8029 E Main Street, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Joan's honor to Pets Without Parents, a non-profit animal rescue organization at www.petswithoutparents.net
