Jose Ramon Jorge

Jose Jorge, 67, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, in Las Vegas.

Born on May 24, 1958, in Cienfuegos, Cuba, Jose was the beloved son of Elsa and Reinero Jorge. He later made his home in Las Vegas, where he worked for many years at the Grand Hotel before enjoying his retirement.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Reinero and Elsa Jorge, and his sister, Elisa.

He is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Jorge, Nelly, and Angel; his nieces and nephews, Chloe, Keanu, Chelsea, and Anthony; and many extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by his kindness.

Jose was a warm-hearted and generous man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He found joy in life's simple pleasures—playing dominoes, watching his beloved Dodgers, sleeping in, and sharing good meals with family and friends. He also enjoyed visiting the Station Casinos and trying his luck at Keno.

One of Jose's greatest wishes was to return to California and spend time at the beach once again, a place that brought him peace and happiness. His gentle spirit, caring nature, and easygoing personality will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A blessing service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Davis Funeral Home.

Though Jose will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved. May he rest in eternal peace and rejoice in God's heavenly kingdom.
