Joseph Alvarez

Joseph Alvarez, aka Jose or Joe, at the age of 85, Jalisco Mexico passed away on December 4, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Joseph was born to parents of Francis Buenrostro and Gabriel Alvarez on August 5, 1938. Joseph attended Arvin Schools, graduated from junior high school in Arvin 8th grade, married to Mary L Acuna on August 3, 1960. Joseph worked as a field laborer and then went to school and became a licensed barber by trade; eventually owned his own barber shops where he loved by all his barbering clientele.

Joseph/Jose is preceded in death by his parents Gabriel Alvarez and Frances Buenrostro Alvarez, his son Joseph Alvarez, his daughter Esperanza Alvarez, his brothers Francisco Alverez, brother Alfredo Alvarez and his son-in-law Edward Cirilo.

Joseph/Jose is survived by wife, Mary L. Alvarez, his adult children; Maria Alvarez, Mary Lou Alvarez, Guadalupe Alvarez, Francisco and Melissa Alvarez, Juan Alvarez, and Louis Alvarez.

His siblings sister, Esperanza Alvarez, his brothers Arthur Alvarez, and Gregory Alvarez and sister-in-law Leticia Alvarez.

All his grandchildren, Leonard Castaneda and wife Sara Castaneda. Grandson Patrick Castaneda and his wife Melissa Castaneda, great granddaughters Neriah Castaneda and Serena Castaneda, granddaughter Michele and her husband Mason.

Cherry Saucedo, Angel Bermudez, Candace Christy Joseph, Jacqueline Howard and husband Daren Howard and great grandson Holden. Granddaughter Jessica Cirilo and her wife Melissa Cirilo.
