Joseph Allen Cavitt

August 25, 1978 — July 23, 2023

Las Vegas, Nevada

On July 23, 2023, Joseph Allen Cavitt, 44, went to be with his Lord.

He loved so many people, and they loved him.

He was born in Murray, Kentucky, on August 25, 1978.

He is survived by his wife, April Renee Cavitt, and his eight children.

He had five children with his wife, April Renee Cavitt: Alexandra Perkins, from Palm Coast, Florida, Shawn Andrecht, Seth Andrecht, and Faith Andrecht, and Brenden Hyde, who resides in Las Vegas, NV.

He also had three children with Cathea Imus: Devyn Dong, Joseph Rogers, and Tapanga Cavitt, who resides in Murray, KY.

He has two sisters, Lucillia Harrell and Kelli Weahunt, in Shelbyville, Tennessee, and his niece, Louise Banks.

His grandchildren: Remi Perkins, Gabriel James Gomez Andrecht III.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mamye Catherine Cavitt, his biological father, George Armstrong, and his stepfather, Eugene Banks, who raised him, for which he was thankful. His brother, Craig Armstrong, and nephew, Michael Fulkerson, also preceded his death.

He had lots of brothers and a sister from other mothers and fathers, cousins, family, and friends who loved and cared for him very much.

He loved all of his children and believed in his family, and that was one of the most important things to him. And with that being said, he was very much loved.

He passed away peacefully and was very happy.

I loved you until I took my last breath. I will always be grateful for everything you taught and did.

Rest easy, baby, till we meet again, and keep a watch over all of us like you have always done.
