It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kelly Allen Everett, age 37, of Henderson, Nevada, who passed away at 5:10 a.m. on April 20, 2026, at North Vista Hospital in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
Kelly entered this world on November 30, 1988, at 8:33 pm at St. Rose de Lima Hospital in Henderson, Nevada. He was born to his parents, Ervin Eugene Everett and Vicki Jo Carson Everett (née Gortmaker).
Kelly graduated from Basic High School, Class of 2007, in Henderson, Nevada.
As a child, Kelly was energetic, playful, and a natural jokester. He lived life boldly and without restraint. Growing up in the desert of Henderson, he was a true "desert rat," spending his days chasing lizards, catching them with a special lizard stick made by his mom, riding his bike, and exploring the world around him with curiosity and playfulness.
In later years, Kelly battled the relentless demons of addiction, endured mental health challenges, and experienced periods of homelessness. These struggles, though visible, never defined the entirety of his life. Beneath life's hardships, Kelly carried kindness, humor, and a deep capacity to love. Those who knew him before life became heavy remember his laughter and his warmth.
Even in his darkest moments, traces of the little boy he once was still shone through. At his core, Kelly remained someone who cared deeply and longed for peace in a world that was often unkind. His journey reminds us that behind every struggle is a human being deserving of compassion, dignity, and understanding.
Kelly was a son, a brother, a friend, and a person whose life touched more hearts than he may have ever realized. Those who loved him will carry his memory always, holding close both the joyful moments and the quiet reminders of his true spirit.
Kelly is survived by his mother, Vicki Jo Carson Bolding; his stepfather, Michael Clark Bolding; of Pahrump, Nevada, his brother, Kiel William Everett; his sister-in-law, Geela Sarah Everett, of Henderson, Nevada; his aunts, Audry Kay Carson Bondurant and Connie Jean Carson Davidson, both of Sugar Land, Texas; and several nieces and nephews, as well as his and his great aunt, Ruby Webster Gooden of Mesa, Arizona, cousins: Philip C. Bondurant and his wife, Jolie and their children, Addy, Lila and Nolan Bondurant of Heber City, Utah, Jonathan N. Bondurant and his daughter, Peyton Bondurant, Nathan M. McCreedy and his children, Miles and Olivia McCreedy, Preston Davidson and his wife, Ashley, Desiree and Gabby Davidson all of Texas and numerous extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Eugene Everett, his grandparents; Phyllis Loraine Jones Gortmaker Carson Keasling, Margaret Magdalina Derheim Everett and William Otis Everett, Sr., his uncles, Terry A. McCreedy, Gary E. Bondurant and Jerry Allen Gortmaker, great uncle, Larry D. Gooden, and his cousin's wife, Crystal Paige Archer McCreedy.
In honoring Kelly's life, we are reminded to lead with compassion, to extend grace to those who struggle, and to recognize the humanity in every story.
May he now find the peace that eluded him in this life.
Personal Note from his Mom
Kelly's passing is the deepest loss I've ever experienced. In many ways, I lost him long before he was gone. His departure leaves a space in my heart that can never truly be filled.I'll always remember him, not for how his life ended, but as the little boy who was a mama's boy from the moment he was born.
