Kyle Stanley Rea, born on January 1, 1952, in Oriental, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 72. Kyle was a devoted father, cherished friend, and a passionate supporter of the ECU Pirate Club, whose life was defined by dedication, loyalty, and a deep love for those around him.
Kyle found his way to retire to Las Vegas by way of Fayetteville and Raleigh, NC. He made his mark as a real estate broker, earning a reputation for his integrity, honesty, and steadfast commitment to his clients.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Kyle had a deep passion for baseball. Known for his vast knowledge of the game, he loved attending local high school games and sharing his enthusiasm with others. However, it was his unwavering support for the ECU Pirates football team that truly defined his sporting passion. As a proud member of the Pirate Club, Kyle’s enthusiasm for ECU football was infectious, and he was rarely absent from the stands, either in person or in spirit.
Kyle is survived by his two sons, Clark and Blake Rea, along with Dana Wadsworth, who were all proud to call him "Dad." He passed on to them the values of family, community, and integrity that were the cornerstones of his life. His legacy will continue through them and the many lives he touched over the years.
Kyle Stanley Rea will be remembered for his strength of character, his love for his family, and his unwavering dedication to the Pirates. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
