Lucien Micah Love, 47, of Long Beach, CA, passed away on Sunday August 16, 2026 in Las Vegas, NV. Lucien Micah Love was born Los Angeles, CA to Denise Love on August 19, 1978.
Lucien was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Long Beach. In 1995, during his senior year of high school, he met Shay, beginning a connection that would last a lifetime. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1996 and soon after enlisted in the United States Navy. During his military service, he was stationed aboard the USS Nimitz at Naval Station Bremerton in Washington State.
Following his service, Lucien pursued his passion for barbering and attended Lancaster Beauty School in 1999, where he perfected his craft and developed the skills that would earn him respect throughout the community. In 2012, he reconnected with Shay and wholeheartedly embraced the role of father to her son, Cameron. Together, they built a loving family and, in 2014, relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where they welcomed their first son together, Miles. Their family continued to grow with the birth of their daughters, Micah in 2016 and Camiyah in 2019. On November 7, 2020, Lucien and Shay solidified their enduring love through marriage.
Lucien was a dedicated and hardworking man who served as a superintendent for a local apartment complex while also building a reputation as a talented and well-respected barber. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was a proud member of We Outside Car Club, a brotherhood he cherished and treated as an extension of his family. Through the years, he formed lifelong bonds with Calvin “Kizzie” Ortega, Donell “Law” Allison, Cleo “Wink” Lewis, and Brandon “King B” Coleman, relationships founded on loyalty, trust, and genuine friendship.
Above all, Lucien will be remembered for his devotion to family, his unwavering love, his generosity, and the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on through the family, friends, and community whose lives he touched with his kindness, strength, and spirit.
