Odon Alexander Alvarez De La Campa 40, beloved Son, passed away on March 19, 2023.
Odon is survived by his mother Katherine Marcelja Richardson, Uncle Robert Turkovic, brother Michael Alvarez, grandmother “Lela” Blanca Rosa Alvarez. And many other family members.
Odon was born in San Pedro, California December 18, 1982. Odon could be found every weekend on the beach while living in San Clemente. Odon spent most his early childhood in San Marcos until his family moved to Temecula, where he attended Temecula Valley High School, Class of 2000. Odon still holds the power lifting record for the school as he always strived to be his best self. He played football starting very young with Pop Warner and continued through college after receiving an athletic scholarship to Mount San Jacinto College in 2001. Odon was a hard-working, loving son who lived life to the fullest. Odon could always be found in a gym working out and providing fitness training to others. He became certified in Krav Maga and used his skill to become an amateur fighter with Team Quest. His passion and talent for martial arts led him to train in other states and countries as far away Germany, and lastly Las Vegas. Odon was an outstanding athlete and accomplished many top titles.
Odon had a great sense of humor and his smile made everyone around him smile. His love for his family had no bounds and he loved spending time with them whenever he could. Odon’s family meant the world to him, and he will be remembered for his big heart and generous nature. He was a loving and caring soul, and our lives are forever changed with his untimely passing. He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. The family wishes to express our sincerest gratitude to friends and extended family during our darkest hour as there has been an overwhelming outpour of love, generosity and support that has eased the burden of this unimaginable loss.
A private memorial was held, thanks to loved ones who helped to make it possible.
