Paul Steven Dzerk

Paul Steven Dzerk  (83) Las Vegas, NV passed away on 10/30/22

Paul was born in New Jersey to Paul and Sally Dzerk on 12/29/38

Graduated from Ridgefield Park high school in NJ,  class of 1956. Soon after graduation, Paul enlisted with the United States Air Force. He  served from 1956 to 1977, when he retired from active duty. Paul then attended community college of southern Nevada for horticulture.
In 1984 he landed his dream job at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada as an arborist / grounds supervisor. He was very passionate about his work there and when he was not working, he was a huge of the UNLV basketball and football teams, and could frequently be seen in the stands cheering for them. He also enjoyed any time off at the beach.

 He retired from UNLV in 2019.

Paul is survived by three nieces, Lorrie Dzerk, of Greenwood Lake, NY,  Susan Dzerk of Hewitt, NJ and Tracey (Dzerk)Andersen of Wantage, NJ

Pre-deceased by his only brother Michael J Dzerk & nephew Michael J Dzerk Jr. As well as his parents, Paul and Sally Dzerk.

Paul will be will be remembered and honored on September 13,2023  at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery,  1900 Veterans Memorial Dr.
Boulder City, NV 89005 at 10 am at the chapel on premises, burial of remains and military honors services to follow shortly after.
