Richard Gerard Rainville

Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island July 5, 1952 and Death recorded December 27, 2023. Richard was the brother to Lorraine Lucille Rainville presently living in an Assisted Living Home in Connecticut. Richard and Lorraine are the children of Gerard Rainville and Florence Lamoure-Rainville both deceased. Richard lived in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada for many years and was very much loved by his family and friends. He will be missed. His passion was for his art as a Musician/Drummer. Richard graduated from Cumberland High School in Rhode Island in 1970. He graduated from Fullerton College, CA with an Associate’s Degree in 1977 and a Bachelor of Christian Education from Berean Christian College at Long Beach, CA in 1986. He also held degrees in Composition and Performance. Richard was a member of the National Association of Rudimental Drummers and toured with the United States Marine Band and Drum Bugle Corps while serving in the Marines. Writing was a second passion of Richard’s and he wrote a short story on “Blurred Lines” and a booklet on “How to Survive Vegas”. Richard will be much missed. But, he will continue to live in our hearts.
