Theresa Ortiz, age 78, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026.

Theresa was a kind, loving, and caring woman who had a heart as big as her personality. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were among the greatest loves of her life. She was always there for the people she loved and had a special way of making everyone feel cared for. She was also wonderfully sassy—and anyone who knew Theresa knows she wouldn’t want us to leave that part out!

Theresa loved the music of Elvis Presley and George Strait, and she could always appreciate a good cheeseburger. She enjoyed the simple things in life: good music, good food, and most importantly, the people she loved.

Her daughters will forever carry her love and lessons in their hearts. Her grandchildren will cherish the memories, laughter, and love she gave them, and her great-grandchildren will grow up knowing the special woman whose love helped shape their family.

She leaves behind beautiful memories, plenty of stories, and a whole lot of love that will stay with her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends forever. We will miss her kindness, her laughter, her sass, and, of course, her opinions—which she was never shy about sharing.

Theresa may no longer be with us, but we can picture her now, dancing with Elvis, listening to George Strait, and enjoying the biggest cheeseburger she can find.

Rest peacefully, Theresa. You were deeply loved, you will be missed beyond words, and you will never be forgotten. Your love will live on through your daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and everyone lucky enough to have known you. ❤️
