Virginia Ocampo Pirante (1955-2025) – A beloved mother and warrior.
Virginia Ocampo, 70, a beloved mother to 3 children, has joined our Creator on June 4, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill. She died from cancer after a long and courageous journey.
She was born in Bacoor City, Philippines in 1955 to Silemio and Benita Ilang-Ilang Ocampo, and the youngest of the siblings – Alfredo, Dalisay, Edgardo, and Conrado.
Virginia spent her life and career being a devoted mother to her children Aaron, Daniel, and Nia – her pride and joy! She always said their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided.
She was a loving and caring grandmother to her grandchildren Veronica, Daniah, Via, and Jacob where she spent most of her time creating good and sweet memories together with her daughter in-law, Virginia ‘Jhing’ whom she loved so much for loving her son, Daniel through the years.
She took special joy in giving unconditional love and providing simple things for her children first among anything else while balancing her profession as a Registered Nurse and a Clinical Nurse. Her career in the healthcare industry in the Philippines is a noble act of profession where she had touched the lives of many of her patients, students, and neighbors in her hometown in Zapote and Niog Philippines.
The family of Virginia wishes to extend our sincere thanks for loving their mother very much – Ocampo Clan, to her friends and families here in Las Vegas, her best friends for life Leonida and Elsa, her dearest in-laws, nephews, nieces, and relatives in the Philippines and her cousins in California and Colorado. May God continually bless your good heart and family.
Funeral services will be held on June 13, 2025 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM (PST) at 5555 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146.
